liz.r 0 Posted October 20, 2007 There may be another thread for this, but I didn't seem to find one quite yet. Anyone have any soft ....transitioning into solid food ideas/recipes/suggestions for eating out and or microwave cooking? I had a fire at my house on Labor Day (almost one month before my band) and my insurance is paying for a hotel until December when the repairs should be complete. I have a fridge and a little microwave in the room. Help with ideas, please!
Daisalana 33 Posted October 20, 2007 Instant grits, instant oatmeal, Jello, pudding, yogurt.. most the mushy stuff going into solid foods (for my list) were refrigerated or microwave items anyway. I also was told I can have tuna on mushies.. if your doctor said you can have tuna, its in a can

liz.r 0 Posted October 21, 2007 That electric skillet idea was a great one! Thank you. My doc told me to go ahead and start the solid foods....so I am microwaving lean ground beef and turkey patties this week. We'll see how well that goes. I tried a meat patty from Denny's yesterday.....blech. That didn't go down so well. At least I can cook eggs in the microwave too. Hehe.
