dreamingsmall 1,125 Posted November 26, 2017 Any more information? How long have you stalled ? What's your daily eating like ? What are your stats and how long post ? Stalls can be for no reason. But also they can be a reason so the answer depends on the Individual..but knowing the reason makes it easier to fix if there is one.

GwennyPenny 108 Posted November 30, 2017 I have had a few stalls for various reasons. I had the bypass four months ago and I've lost just over 110lbs but I had further surgeries and each time stalled due to excess Fluid and sleepy bowel Constipation etc. The last time I was not sure usually I add more Protein and Water but this time I had some extra carbs and it seemed to shake things up a bit. I think our bodies get a bit used to it. I lost 2lbs in two days now back to normal. Fluids have played a big part for me if I eat too much salt the next day I will have gained half a pound. What kind of fats are you eating that makes you think it could be that Sent from my CPH1607 using BariatricPal mobile app
dreamingsmall 1,125 Posted December 1, 2017 I'm asking what you are actually eating. Not your grams.Sent from my Vivo 5R using BariatricPal mobile app
travelergirl 142 Posted December 1, 2017 Just about everyone on here has had a stall. There are lots of different things to try, but sometimes we just have to be patient. I struggled with obsessing about my weight loss numbers in the first three months. Then I started to relax a bit. Now at 6 months post op I don't get flustered when my numbers stall.Things to try...more Water, more Protein, more fat, more calories, switch breakfast and dinner, change from cardio to weights or vice versa. Try one and see what happens.I've found my numbers freeze or crawl for 2 weeks just before my menstrual cycle and then once it starts...whoosh weight comes off quickly Sent from my SM-G920V using BariatricPal mobile app 1 nikkiyellz reacted to this

If you were eating 1000 calories a day with 80-100 Protein and 30 of carbs, this would mean you're eating 55-60g of fat I mean that's totally plausible if you're eating a lot of of nuts oils or fatty meat, but it still sets off red flags making me think something is off. While I think fat is good and typically doesn't need to be limited. I also don't think having fat as your biggest share of calories is optimal for weight loss either Edited December 1, 2017 by Mhy12784
