lessnless 1 Posted October 20, 2007 You could try the puffed rice cakes. I don't have a problem with them going through the band, and that's a whole lot of crunch for 45 calories... Yes, I've finally reached the point where one rice cake fills me up!
2bthinagn 3 Posted October 20, 2007 I have started going to an Arthritis swim class. Swimming has always given me the munchies, so I am taking a granola or Protein Bar with me to eat on the way home. And of course my Water.< /p>
Oregondaisy 2,021 Posted October 20, 2007 String cheese is a good snack. BBQ soy crisps are too, but you have to be careful. They are so good. I think you can have 20 for a 100 calories. They have Protein in them too. They almost taste like BBQ potato chips.< /p>
anonemouse 1 Posted October 21, 2007 The Quaker Granola Bites 100-calorie packs are yummy, and they are a pretty decent serving for a bandster.
Boo Boo Kitty 3 Posted October 21, 2007 I snack on string cheese, but my favorite snack os to cut up a protien bar, and nuke it a bit. Yes, most you can. Tastes like a brownie!! YUMMY YUMMY!

Boo Boo, what kind of Protein bars do you like? I mainly buy the Atkins ones because they are lower in carbs. I never thought about heating one.
jfran 0 Posted October 22, 2007 String cheese is my favorite snack with some fruit. I also like the south beach diet Meal Replacement bars. 19g Protein and tons of Vitamins. Lunchables makes a Lil' lunchable. Small portions and 140cal. These are great too. McDonald's yogurt parfaits are great too, 160cal
Boo Boo Kitty 3 Posted October 22, 2007 One thing, when you are looking at Carb count, remember we actually NEED carbs! That is just me on my soap box.. BUT my favorite protien bars are Triple Threats bars. I love the carmel one. They are by Powerbar.
realmccoy 0 Posted October 22, 2007 Ditto on the string cheese! I like the south beach Protein bars as well. I spend a lot of time in the car, so I look for Snacks too. I have been drinking the slim fast lowcarb/low sugar-3grams. The original slim fast has over 28gr sugar and a lot more calories. It's a quick way to get your Protein in. I would stay away from the McD's yogurt things....there is a huge amount of sugar in them.!!!! My doctor tells us to limit the amount of sugar to 3gr. or less in a serving!
