I feel the same way... I get so surprised when I see what their loss is compared to mine when in the same time frame.

True..... it's hard but true! So I was sleeved on 9/20/2017. I was 299. So basically 300.... But definitely over 300 if I was full [emoji23]. Now I'm 260. I have had 2 stalls already were I didn't lose any weight for like 2 weeks

So I’ve been at a 2 week lull now where I’m stuck at 232. It’s normal I guess and you ladies have lost a lot!

Girl you are right on track. And you are doing better than me! My highest ever was 313 lbs. Starting weight was 296.4 beginning of preop, I'm now 244 lbs. I had the vsg on aug 14...so 3.5 months ago...only lost 48 lbs....compared to you who lost 40 lbs in only 2 months. Great job! And now I'M jealous haha

Thank you! It just sucks to see the same number on the scale. So I just try not to weigh myself so I don't think about it too much lol. How much have you lost total?

I guess but sometimes it definitely doesn't feel like. I was originally suppose to have my surgery August 16th but my insurance company dropped me because I graduated from college and they needed proof that I was going back to school full time.... Smh so my surgery got postponed by one month. You 're close to that 50 pound mark! That's all that matters lol people say they see the weight loss but I don't see it yet. I can definitely see the inches going down but that's it. I think I'm just being too hard on myself.

You are absolutely being too hard on yourself. embrace this process! I have my days but I always remember where I today is better than where I was 4 months ago. You’ll get there!

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
