jess9395 5,449 Posted December 8, 2017 I don't. --- However, one can't order people to write in a certain way as long as they don't violate the board rules. If her style is bothering you, put her on ignore.Exactly my point. I like that all kinds of support are given because we are all different and need different styles. I needed that style so I'm glad that it is here for others who do. There's plenty of all styles. 1 dreamingsmall reacted to this
jess9395 5,449 Posted December 8, 2017 Go back to food tracking, Make sure you are getting your 64 oz of Water, get back to doing your 10K steps or whatever exercise level you are at, cut your carbs, increase your Protein. That's what I do when I want to really drop the lbs. This is the general advice usually given. But the OP, should she ever return, says she doesn't eat any carbs and does all those things. So we are trying to get more detail from her to help her specifically. If she is doing all those things and still gaining, she should visit her doctor. Probably not a bad idea anyhow. This is kind of random now and maybe also off topic but this irks me since a whole while: general advice is given. What happened to "diagnosis before treatment"? When it comes to problems with gaining/stalls/etc. that have likely to do with food intake (or maybe supplement intake as well) I think the first advice should be that evaluation is necessary, i. e. "food tracking" and if there is a problem identified: "why is that problem there?". Everything else comes later. 1 jess9395 reacted to this
dreamingsmall 1,125 Posted December 8, 2017 I think she comes across as straight talking, no nonsense helpful. We all respond to different things. Those kinds of responses were exactly what HELPED me in my early days. So I am glad there are all kinds of responses on here. It's a bulletin board. Short of people being overtly nasty, which she is not, we all need to learn to take what's useful to us and leave the rest! Just my humble opinion.Thank you. I won't bother to respond. If people think I'm rude they know were the block button is. But I have no intention to take 'advice' on how I come across over the internet lol. [emoji4] I know I mean nothing but positive vibes to everyone. And I have no reason to be rude to strangers I don't even remember after I've spoken to them.Sent from my Vivo 5R using BariatricPal mobile app 2 jess9395 and Yosy reacted to this
