sleevedshereen 524 Posted November 14, 2017 I'm struggling guys! I've been in a stall for like 3 weeks now. I am 4 months post op today. I struggle to eat, don't drink enough Water and don't get enough Protein in. I think because I'm not eating enough each day, my body is like now in starvation mode. Over the weekend, I barely ate anything and all I did was sleep. idk what's going on with me but super frustrating that i've been stalled for this long. I know I need to start drinking Protein Shakes since I can't eat much. Has anyone else gone through this?
Sosewsue61 3,185 Posted November 15, 2017 Oh Shereen!! So sorry you are in dire straits. You need to get in touch with your surgeon. How come you are not drinking? Is Water an issue going down? Try warm tea or hot chocolate Protein Drink. Do you have too much restriction? Nausea? It could be a stricture keeping you from getting food down. What about greek yogurt or cottage cheese? Your kidneys will shut down if you don't drink. 2 mylighthouse and Markg17 reacted to this

Aliya78 29 Posted November 15, 2017 Cottage cheese and hummus have been my saving grace when I have felt I couldn't eat. I remain on omeprozole as a precaution as am taking arthritis medicine as well.
