Walking shoe recommendations

If you can afford it please please get to a store that specializes in running shoes. I went to a place called the Runners Edge. I've had issues for years with shoes. Well silly me..I've been wearing a size and a half too small! No wonder my feet were falling asleep and cramping up. Although they still do on the eleptical but I'm thinking its a different issue. Anywaysss..it's gonna run between 80-120 bucks usually..but sooo very worth it I messed up my feet from not getting the right shoes. I just had my 65 year old mom go to the same store too and she is ranting and raving over her nike's she just got. I myslef were fitted with Brooks and love them.. it's like..the fit like a dream. But they measure your walking pattern and look at alot of different things when finding the right shoe. Anyways..good luck.
