Me-post Plastics tummy tuck & breast lift

Recommended Posts

I’m 5 years post sleeve & 120lbs wt loss. I had a TT & BLift about 3 weeks ago. Still concerned with healing & having chronic pain issues. I imagine everything going wrong because I’ve seen it all go wrong. Any tips on how to make things better? I tried to post pics but it said pics were disabled in this forum. I’m worried I’m going to take the steristrips off my many incisions & im going to have non-healing holes & necrosis. My breasts hurt & swell especially after movement & im concerned with ongoing pain.

I’m suffering mentally from stress due to problems at work (a rant from my manager about not being emotionally supportive, yelled at for being “intimidating” while I just sat there flabbergasted & threatened with discipline). Also, I decided to have these procedures because I’m “child-free”& too uncomfortable/shy with myself plus I was told my girly parts might not be sustainable due to large fibroids with bleeding. Overshare. Dealing with being the only single lady left is hard, too.

Any support welcome. Suggestions considered.

I️ don’t have any experience with plastics but it sounds like you need to give yourself a lot of care and patience for the physical and mental stress of healing, not to mention work stress.

Rest, hydrate, be gentle with yourself and if it’s your thing binge watch something good

Aww sorry you are facing recovery and crap at work. Do you have binders on? And someone said micropore strips are good for your incisions - holds them together. What are your post-op instructions? Can you call the surgeon's office?

You gotta a few more weeks before you start feeling normal. I thought I was never going to stand up straight after my Tummy Tuck but I finally did and it was the best decision I had ever made. Just give yourself some time to recover. It takes about 6 months to a year to recover and you will be happy that you did it. I promise [emoji4]
