HAVE BEEN SCHEDULED

Recommended Posts

Well my 8 month process has finally paid off and I was scheduled for December 11. Getting seriously nervous but anxious to get it done. Just ordered all of my supplements I need to take after surgery and picked up about 2 months worth so I have time before I have to order more. Starting to pull stuff together that I need to pack for the hospital and now to focus on getting the house cleaned and plan menus for the first few weeks. This is scary but I need to get this weight off. Good luck everyone.

Ask for a scopolamine patch before being put under - for nausea it works great!

I took my own Decaf tea bags that I like, biotene for dry mouth, chapstick, slippers and a robe for walking the halls. A leisure bra because it won't rub on the incisions, I wore the same outfit home that I came in, (well except for undies), phone/charger, Shampoo n conditioner, toothbrush, toothpaste, lotion, deodorant - that's really it.

Good luck! You will soon be on the other side.

Had a sleeve in 2017, lost over 100 pounds. Had a DS surgery this year (2025) for more sustainable weight loss. 🤞

The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
