speechick1969 22 Posted November 8, 2017 Tonight shrimp sounded so good. I cooked some with garlic, lime and cilantro, but the minute I was done the thought of it nauseated me! This used to happen when I was pregnant! So frustrating. Does this happen to anyone else?Sent from my SM-G950U using BariatricPal mobile app 1 Dametris reacted to this

The smell makes me nauseous. I tried to eat them anyway. The minute it touched my tongue I gagged. It also happens with potatoes and eggs. jess9395 5,449 Posted November 8, 2017 Shrimp and eggs are quite common ones actually! Only time I ever threw up was shrimp. And I couldn't do eggs for about six months. I can so both now. 1 MochaKelly reacted to this

I can do this too! 11 Posted November 10, 2017 I seem to have that problem too. I had my surgery 8/14/17 and I have a hard time making dinner for my husband and me. I start out thinking something would be good, but by the time I am done making it, I usually can’t eat it! My husband eats and I have a Protein Drink. DK 39 Posted November 12, 2017 I also had a very hard time with eggs. It makes me terribly nauseous and is painful after eating. I used to love scrambled eggs.

bellabloom 2,467 Posted November 12, 2017 That’s probably gonna be a normal thing. I still get sick a lot 4 years later. You will learn what does it, but it’s just a consequence of the surgery. 2 dillydog and southernbellair79 reacted to this
