kattrax421b 9 Posted November 12, 2018 I was sleeved on 10/25/17. I'm only down 8-9 pounds and I have already hit a stall. I feel like I should be further along than this. I have started my pureed diet. I have not experienced issue with tolerating foods. I feel like my sleeve was not made small enough. Trying to stay positive but this is so discouraging.Same for me. But I'm down 12lbs. Don't meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy, and taste good with catchup! 1 Hannah83 reacted to this
Hannah83 214 Posted November 13, 2018 I didn't have a 'honeymoon' year one, in all honesty, it's been fighting tooth and nail in this first year. My weight has been in the low 190's high 180s for a long time, 6 months too long. But, we can be our own worst enemy or best ally. I think we are doing a bang up job! Some lose weight quicker than others, I look at it this way. We are slower yes, but it further solidifies good habits in place. I have been moving in a smaller size but same weight direction. Inch loss, so heck to the yes we rock! I rock! If anyone would like accountability please PM me or let's perhaps start a thread or something. I've not been in this size and weight range for 12 years! 2 AndreaK. and xbadwlfbb reacted to this
xbadwlfbb 57 Posted November 27, 2018 I know my one year update is a little late, but still wanted to chime in and say how great everyone is doing! The last few pounds are so hard to lose, I still have 10 lbs to go to meet my goal weight, but I will get there. I really wanted to reach that goal by my wedding date, but I didn’t get there. It’s hard not to get discouraged or become unmotivated, but when I think about where I was a year ago, I’ve come a long way and I have to push through. I know I can do it. Positive mindset is key! Here are progress pictures. Hopefully soon I can add when I meet my goal weight (fingers crossed)! 7 LuckyCharm88, nina0891, Hrsnjs and 4 others reacted to this

Freiabr 427 Posted November 27, 2018 I was sleeved on 10/30/18, had some respiratory complications, aside from that, the surgery was a walk in the park. I’m 4 weeks post-op today and lost 17 lbs since surgery and 27 lbs since pre-op diet. I feel I need to exercise more frequently as I hit a 10-day stall now and don’t know what to do. I am having 700-800 calories a day and 70-80 grans of Protein, drink 64 oz of Water but my exercise routine is very unpredictable: there are weeks I work out most of the days and others I don’t...losing motivation and that can’t happen...how do you guys keep motivated and a positive mindset? This is regardless of what they do exercise wise, or food wise for that matter. I freaked when it happened to me and I had to research a lot to feel better. Stick with your program, keep up with the Protein and Water and exercise as you can...but know this is normal. ConnieSB 8 Posted December 4, 2018 I was sleeved 10/30/17 and I’ve lost 136 pounds. This week I had a full knee replacement and I’m really happy to get to this point. I’m 60lbs from my goal weight. With my new knee I’ll be able to workout more. But life is better, and I’m glad I had the weight loss surgery. 3 ElectricBoogaloo, Hrsnjs and hillnicole34 reacted to this
xiolia 4 Posted December 4, 2018 Being a year out I feel like im eating out of control. Anyone else having issues? Anyone here try any of the reset diets and have any advice? I feel awful and Im afraid im going to ruin everything. I could really use some advice!
ConnieSB 8 Posted December 4, 2018 Hi Xiolia, You can try doing some liquid fasts 3 days a week, it will help you reset. I'm in a monthly support group - face to face we talk, share stories. It helps me with accountability - I don't feel judged just supported. I have had to really work on my emotional eating - it's tough but necessary. I also joined a gym and I go 3 days a week for an hour. I got a FitBit and I work on my steps. Last week I had a knee replacement so I am very aware of what that means in terms of gaining weight again. Be kind and loving to yourself. 1 AndreaK. reacted to this
Twinmom3330 24 Posted December 5, 2018 Sleeved 10/17 ... from April 9 to surgery date .... lost 47 lbs with MWM and after surgery have lost an additional 20 lbs in the 6 weeks. I’m having trouble getting the 60-80 g of Protein in each day! I don’t want anymore protein shakes.. too sweet for me and I’m so over yogurt! I’m great with my Water intake and hit my exercise goal each day! Love my treadmill! 1 AndreaK. reacted to this
cdianab2085 1 Posted December 5, 2018 I was sleeved 10/30/2018, I’ve lost 23 since surgery and 39 since my liquid diet. I’ve been at a stall now for 5 days. I know we aren’t supposed to compare ourselves but I feel so disheartened when I see others who are around my time losing 30+ pounds. I’m doing absolutely everything to the letter, Protein is well over 80 a day, carbs less than 30, I easily get 70 ounces of Water and Powerade zero a day and I eat around 700-800 calories most days (the others I fall a bit less than that.) I know I shouldn’t be weighing everyday. I’m literally driving myself nuts. I just feel that I’m on the lower end of the weight loss train and that bothers me. I guess it makes me question whether I’ll lose a lot long term or not. :/

I am my own worst enemy most days. Accountability yes! How do I PM you, I could use someone in my corner!!!!
