Got the sleeve 10/18. So far things are going well. Just wondering if any else has experienced or know what it means when your stomach makes crazy noises. Not hunger growls but just noises. it's hard to explain. Also, hurts a little but not bad. More just uncomfortable.

I think it's still gas from the surgery. My tummy was super loud for the first month, then things gradually became more normal.

Mine sounds like an amplified symphony of percussion intruments!!! And I am struggling to get in Water goals and Protein to an extent - shakes are filling and getting old - ack! I am barely consuming 350 calories and that's not good.

350 cal is fine for a week out. I didn't get nearly that many. Calories don't matter this early.. spend your time counting Fluid and Protein.

You're doing great!

Oh yes - my stomach is very talky right now, and I think this is absolutely normal. I even love that - this just reminds me that I still have one (at least a tiny part of it!!!)

CRAZY noises and stinky farts for whatever reason. Certainly not from the foods, since that's minimal.

Yes! Sleeved on the 25th and makes noise during and after every shake I drink. Water not as much. I’m wondering if it because I’m using a Vitamix blender and even the lowest setting makes the shake frothy; probably air.

Sleeved on October 18 as well and yes big time stomach noises. Pain is finally at a bare minimal. Having a hard time taking small swallows, but the pain reminds me to do it. Lol

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
