Here! Sleeved 11/18/2017. Starting Weight-387. Surgery Weight-357. Current Weight-295. I'll admit my diet could've been a lot better the past 2-3 months. I've since started to take my diet more seriously in regards to my macros, calorie intake and food tracking. My weight loss has picked up to about the same pace as the first few weeks post-op. I've also been going to the gym 4-5x a week now, which I'm starting to really enjoy.

Congrats on hitting the 200s!!!

Ok... the dreaded question... is anyone else battling chronic Constipation since surgery? If so, have you found anything that helps? This is horrible. I thought it would go away but it just isn’t. My diet is on point and I have started taking in extra Fiber but it just isn’t working. =(

I use this supplement called Regular Girl and it helps a lot! You just stir it into 6 ounces of liquid and drink it and you'll usually have a BM that day.

Y’all look awesome!! I am excited to see my photos in a few months.

Also, our clinic has us take powdered collagen for Hair loss too. You may want to look it up, it has really good reviews online.

Looking good! I'm down about 60 pounds now from my highest weight, but I'd still like to lose about another 80 pounds to get to my goal of 140. I still have some ways to go, but my goal every month is to lose 10 pounds. So I'm just going to keep pushing through. I really started to pick up my running though! Which I am the most excited about. I ran my first 5k in a very long time about two weeks ago and had so much fun I signed up for another around my birthday! I hope you all are doing well and feeling a lot better!

Looking great!!!! I'm less than halfway to my goal - I'm trying to get down to 160 and I'm at 241 right now. You made it to one-derland, that's terrific :)

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
