It's a rare thing in Australia that you can eat on a bus. Usually Water only. No food, no juice, no soft drinks or soda drinks. (The companies don't like extra cleaning expense.) Nataliesmom 112 Posted October 30, 2017 I know the temptations of other eating around you. Today my mom was eating and candy bar and saying yum yum and telling me how good it was. Well I’m not that nice of a daughter in the first place I stopped the car on the side of the road and told her to get out of shut up. She has done everything to undermind my diet. She is bound and determined for me to fail. My mom has done this my Hole life. 1 Sosewsue61 reacted to this

I did not tell my Mom for similar reasons, she would say 'Oh you can just eat less, try to eat less..." etc 2 njgal and Nataliesmom reacted to this
Sosewsue61 3,185 Posted October 31, 2017 Your mom is a jerk, glad you stood up for yourself. Admittedly the pre-op diet is hard to do but you can do it. After a couple days it is easier, not pleasant but easier.
temkins 71 Posted October 31, 2017 Temptations are great, as you're testing yourself. Remember, that after the surgery those feelings will go way - almost no hunger at all. A tiny stomach which won't fit more than 2 bites, and overeating will hurt a lot. BUT - in a few months you will be actually able to eat virtually anything you will see - from greasy chicken to a cake - just as much as your new stomach would fit. However, I doubt that you will want that It will be a brand new you! 1 WillPowerPrincess reacted to this
