laceemouse 631 Posted November 17, 2017 People come in all shapes and sizes..at 5'3" and 230 I wore a size 22 Levi's...At 201 I can still wear them, they are baggy but not falling off me. Today I am wearing size 18 levis, they are a little snug. I am def of the apple shape variety, as most of my weight is right in the middle.True. I am a pear. My waist is small but my legs will never be small. I have surpassed my weight loss goal but I will never be able to fit into one leg of my old pants, my calves are too big.Sent from my Nexus 6P using BariatricPal mobile app
Less_Is_More 3 Posted November 20, 2017 I'm two years out and still losing, albeit slowly. I started at 295 lbs and size 32 pants and 4x tops. Today I weigh 165 and wear a size 12 or 14 pants, medium or large tops. I'm built quite stocky to begin with so my top size won't go below medium (I wore a medium at 120 lbs long ago), and the smallest pants I've ever worn were size 10, so I am happy. If I didn't have all that extra skin around my middle I might actually be able to get into those 10's! lol
Creekimp13 5,840 Posted November 22, 2017 I'm dreaming of the day I can get into a regular woman's large, and size 14 pants. That sounds perfect to me.
crocodoxie 223 Posted November 26, 2017 I guess it depends on where we carry our weight also, and if you've given birth might change where weight settles. I was an 18 when I weighed 180 lbs eons ago. I started at a size 24/26 - 3X (at 270)...now at 200 lbs, I'm between an 18-20. 18's are snug, 20/1x is fitting pretty on spot with some things looser. I'm 5'5"/apple now, growing up was hourglass shaped. I'm currently 50. My body shape changed a lot over the years after having kids.
