Constipation

I'm a fan of magnesium pill. Have been taking 1 daily dose for two months now (after struggling with Constipation for 2 months after surgery) and it is making all the difference.

Did you try miralax at all?

I tried Miralax. Like most laxatives (and even the Fiber supplements) it cases cramps and gas. The magnesium gel caps do not do that.

Haven’t been able to talk to my surgeon... he’s been busy.....

Just wondering if it was possible that I could be able to take Senokot S day after surgery?

Does the Constipation issue ever go away or is it something we have to live with for the rest of our lives? I’m hoping it goes away in time.

Thank you all for replying! Where can I find this Smooth Move tea? Sounds better than constantly taking stool softeners.

You can take magnesium gel tabs after having the surgery?

You can take milk of magnesia right now and after surgery. It's liquid and really helps.

I don’t know. I have a hard time now though, main reason I’m terrified of getting this done. I don’t need anymore headaches down there lol.
