I really need help getting on track again.

I had Gastric Bypass in March 2016

My surgery weight was 476 Pounds

For the first year the weight came off

I have been stalling for the last 6 Months which my weight has been more or less constant.

My current weight is 279pounds

Any advise will be greatly appreciated to kick start the weight loss again

Ahhhmazing!!!! You are doing fabulously!!

The biggest thing that happens is "calorie creep". Take a week and log every single little thing that you eat/drink. You might be surprised how much you are now eating compared to last year.

If you are eating 1500 calories or less and not losing, then make sure your doctor has done a good physical on you. Your thyroid levels could be out of whack. (Or something like that).

What does your exercise look like?

You have worked hard to get your results. Congratulations on your weight loss. The further out from surgery the slower the weight loss. Look at all you have done already. You can do this~!!!

I'm three years out getting back on track (I had a gain)

Go back to bariatric basics hit your Protein goals. low carb, Get vegetables in to feel full. Hydrate Hydrate Hydrate!

log meals in myfitnesspal. (or any food log app)

Evaluate your workout. Change it up. Never do the same workout over and over. Increase resistance as you go.

All I can say is congratulations on losing close to 200lbs. The most important question, how is your health? I'm sure losing close to 200lbs had a positive effect on your health.

after that long, you're probably in maintenance. If you want to lose more, you'll have to cut your calories. Log everything you eat....and weigh and measure things like meat, cheese, etc. Portion creep is real. I know I'll have to weigh, measure, and track for the rest of my life, or I'll start gaining weight.

Congrats on your amazing results.

You have gotten some great advise already. If your diet is okay, you need to check your Vitamin levels. If you are not loosing, you might not be supplementing right or enough.

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.
