shellyb1827 4 Posted October 19, 2017 I’m about 3 weeks post op. Every time I eat I puking it up with 5-10 mins. No matter what it is, how slow I eat, or how little bites I take I always throw it up! Seen my doc a couple times, got sent to hospital for fluids. Other then that they want to wait and see what happens. I’m suppose to be on soft foods but can’t even keep down the puréed. I’ve tried but it’s the same result. Doc mentioned a few things they might to but again they want to wait and see if it’s just swollen in there or is something is closing or whatever. I’ve tried everything they have suggested but no luck. Please someone tell me this isn’t my new normal! Spending more time in the bathroom then with my kids. Has anyone had this? Did your doc do something to help?
jo 18 Posted October 19, 2017 I have that! I am 2 months out of surgery and I am still drinking and having baby food! Sometimes even purée foods make me sick.I was on the ER once on my 3rd week because I can't or drink enough. I follow all the instructions and now I am drinking 32 ounces of liquid and 4 to 6 ounces of food daily. I am feeling better and the doctor said that some people are slow than others! But if you continue vomiting you need to check with your doctor because they need to do some exams to see if there is a problem

drizz75 12 Posted October 19, 2017 Your doctor should give you something for nausea. They have the pulls you let melt in your mouth and they work wonders.
