BDME 138 Posted October 18, 2017 I am 6 days post op . I feel like the area around my incisions are huge. It’s like I have 2 guys and upper gut which is like firm and bloated, and a lower gut that’s just chub from before. It’s unflattering and discouraging. in general I just feel bloated. I think I may be constipated as I hear that is common. But I’m not really sure because 1. I’ve never been constipated before and 2. I haven’t eaten anything solid so I don’t know what I would be moving out. I drank some stool softener in attempts to rid this feeling. Any other tips? And when should I be able to see this bloat go down. Am I expecting too much too soon? I go back to work Monday and I’d like to be past this bloat stage. The more you walk you will be less bloated!!! 1 FL*Girl reacted to this
BDME 138 Posted October 19, 2017 Hi! To feel better you have to walk! The more you walk you will be less bloated!!! That makes sense. I walked to much in the hospital and I felt great. but have pretty much been in the house since I was discharged. My energy has been so low. But I’ll make sure I get out the rest of this week! Thanks 1 FL*Girl reacted to this
blondie66 271 Posted October 23, 2017 Make sure you're taking your Vitamins and drinking Protein Shakes that'll help with your energy levels....and the bloating is normally gas from the surgery that will move with walking. 1 FL*Girl reacted to this
