I ate Wendy's chilli 6 weeks out. I'm 2 months post-op and having trouble eating chicken but no problem with beef.

Ok, now you're making me want Chili, LOL 🙂 I think that's a question best for your Nutritionist, but when on soft foods, headed to regular - probably fine. I looked it up (small one) & only reason I wouldn't have it all the time is too high in sodium. But on occasion should be Ok. Ideal would be to make some turkey chili at home & you can control the sodium. Also could do veggie chili options.

I used to love Wendy's chili. I used to order a small with a baked potato. It was a cheaper and healthier meal compared to a burger and fries. I would have it now if I wanted it, but only every once in a while. Like a poster above, I would rather make my own. I like using veggie crumbles and 2 kinds of Beans in mine. Way leaner and lighter.

If I could only get over my habit of making a big pot at once, I would make some. My freezer is already filled with leftovers. I need to work on those before I can make anything else that we can't finish in 1 meal.

I was super late for work today and didn’t grab anything for lunch today. I remembered this post and grabbed one during lunch from Tim Hortons (a Canadian version of Dunkin Donuts). I am 4 weeks post op. So far so good, hopefully I don’t get dumping later [emoji1431]
I was able to eat way more than 2 oz. though. Is this considered a slider food?
