22/24 looks different on different people as all bodys have more weight on some areas than others, so how would anyone know were you carry most your weight? I think you should ring the company your flying with and ask if your weight range is fine not clothe size if that makes sense. , i dont know what a 22 is all round the world.

When I was a 22/24 (271 pounds, 5'3") I fit in the seat without a seat belt extender, but I'm an hourglass body type and gained my weight in a pretty even distribution over my body. I fit - not comfortably (3 hour flight was my max). I couldn't bend over to get anything from under the seat in front of me without gymnastics, but I fit.

I agree it depends on your shape and even the airline. I'm considerably bigger than that and usually get an extender just because it's more comfortable. Most flight attendants are very discreet. I flew 1st class with an upgrade a few months ago and didn't need one there.

I flew a lot for work while 270+ and while not comfortable, it’s doable. As you get on the plane, ask a flight attendant for a seat belt extender. They will gladly give you one to save the embarrassment of having to ask as they are checking to make sure everyone is buckled later. If possible, sit on an aisle, gives you a bit more room to lean to that side so you aren’t squished next to your seat mate. I have also sometimes asked at the gate if the flight isn’t full, could I be put in an empty row or have an empty seat next to me.

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
