preventing loose skin

eHey, I'm Michell and I'm a 17-year-old female living in Asia. I had my gastric sleeve surgery on the 13th of October (3 days ago).

I'm on a clear Fluid liquid diet and I was just starting to wonder what I could do early on to prevent loose skin.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

btw I am walking (minimal) but I don't believe id be ready to do any exercise

I don't think you can really do anything to prevent it. It's a factor of age and genetics and just your skin's elasticity. I think some people use creams but it doesn't prevent it.

Congratulations on your wls, walking is the best exercise you can do, my doc doesn't release me for full exercise until I'm 6 weeks post op.As far as loose skin goes I agree with the other poster, it's just one of those wait and see things.

Thanks guys 🙏🏼✨ I'm just worried about being super flabby because I do recall that growing up (i still am haha) I had a alot of stretch marks and I assume thats a sign that my skin lacks elasticity. Did anyone get stretch marks after the surgery?
