Estoy super nerviosa mi cirujano me envio a practicarme un estudio del sueño y aya en plena oficina de la doctora del sueño me dice que tengo la presion alta yo no creo tener ningun trastorno del sueño me pusieron cita para que vaya a dormir aya para realizar el estudio. Tengo 35 de bmi y ninguna comorbidad solo que sufria antes de presion alta y en el presente de vez en cuando se me sube y no tomo medicamentos para eso que creen ustedes me aprovaria mi seguro?

Si usted tiene el bmi de 35 y ha sufrido de presion alto entonces si es muy probable que si te van aprobar. Animo y sigues intentando. Yo sufri de Diabetes hace 10 años pero con alimentación saludable y ejerció logre curarme de eso pero como tengo esa enfermedad en mis archivos médicos mi dieron un aprobación automatico.

Bueno si es verdad que sufres de presion alta, si , usualmente cuando tu bmi es menos de 40 tienes que probar de que hay algo mas por la cual operarte.

      Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
      What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.
