CrissCriss 97 Posted October 15, 2017 Has anyone thought of or have asked their doc about keeping the part of the stomach thats being cut away? 1 Rainbow_Warrior reacted to this
walleyecrazy 120 Posted October 15, 2017 To be honest with you that thought did cross my mind for a second. That’s all it ended up being for me though was a passing thought and I never truly gave it serious consideration. 2 ILOVETEXAS210 and Rainbow_Warrior reacted to this

That's routine with the two surgeons in this practice. They do a quick photo session ... 3 or 4 angles. Then the stomach piece goes off to the pathology lab for testing and reports. Some of that data is kept for a regional longitudinal study. 2 ProudGrammy and KarenOR reacted to this
Walter.Sobchak 978 Posted October 15, 2017 I kept mine and then ate it once I was able to eat soft foods, kinda weird I know. I felt as though I had to, as a rite of passage. 1 ILOVETEXAS210 reacted to this

Walter.Sobchak 978 Posted October 15, 2017 Lol.....Your totally kidding right? Yeah, just trying to be funny. I would have liked to have seen pictures of it. My surgeon told my wife that my stomach was huge. I believe it, I could easily eat a large pizza in one sitting with no issues. 3 Sosewsue61, Nataliesmom and ILOVETEXAS210 reacted to this

Mhy12784 423 Posted October 16, 2017 They put your stomach in formalin which is basically poison, not to mention its surely a pietri dish for bacteria. They all look mostly the same.
