Day 5 liver shrinkage diet

Recommended Posts

Hi I'm on day 5 of 14 of the diet I'm only aloud sugar free liquids like tea juice I have to have 3 pints of skimmed milk and sugar free jelly a day. I thought it was going to be a lot harder hunger wise (touch wood) I haven't really been hungry I don't know if it's because I'm telling my self I'm not and its two weeks and I'm in the right head space but I feel like I'm gaining weight I feel bloated and lethargic has anyone else felt like this. I feel physically unwell and drained yet heavier I don't know if it's psychological or because I'm tierd and I associate this eating too much or eating the wrong things. Anyone had anything similar? Thanks. I'm really craving sprouts for some reason. Lol

Please don't drink any juice, regardless of what you are allowed. Juice is pure liquid sugar and worse, it's fructose + the sweeteners they add to it. It like a liver bomb. Go back to doing your liquid diet without it. Mine does allow 1 glass of V-8, but that's relatively much lower carbs/sugar than say a glass of apple juice or orange juice. Call your pcp if your legs are swollen and your surgeon if you are gaining weight on the liquid diet. They need this information.

Sorry when I say juice i mean cordial that you dilute. I have no swelling or anything i just think it might be in my head or the milk. Thanks for the reply.

Yeah it's sugar free it might be called somthing else in the world but he we call in cordial squash or juice. It's a standard drink in the UK and the sugar free has virtually any calories. My dietation said to drink it.

Cool! Cordial here is synonymous with sticky sweet sugary alcoholic drink. :) Good times, right? I figured it was something lost in translation. :)
