Stephanie_17 2 Posted October 7, 2017 So today is the big day for me, I’m scheduled surgery at 11:30 am. My nerves are a little crazy right now. I have all these mixed emotions going thru me, I’ve done plenty of research and know this is right for me but I’m still a little scared. Yet I try to remember this is only for my own benefit and for a healthier me. I assumed when the big day got here I would have been excited and happy and not have so many mixed feelings. Anyone else experience this? 1 GeTnBackuP reacted to this

Yet I try to remember this is only for my own benefit and for a healthier me. I assumed when the big day got here I would have been excited and happy and not have so many mixed feelings. Anyone else experience this?I sure did. I was in preop and started crying and told my mom amd daughter thst I wanted to leave. My mom calmly reminded me of the road I traveled to get there. And asked me to think how I would feel if I backed out now. Would I be happy. That was a dine deal. Before you know it, I was out of bed amd recovering. I have not looked back since. Danny Paul 761 Posted October 7, 2017 I think anyone going through any surgery has mixed emotions. As you can see in the forums the vast majority who had the surgery don't regret it. 1 Stephanie_17 reacted to this
