I had lap band 18/09/08 have lost 27 kilos so far. how does that compare ?what is it in pounds?:blush:

EVERY 1KG IS 2.2LBS, I FORGOT HOW TO DO THE MATH THOUGH??? HOPE THIS HELPS:redface:

I am wrapped thankyou for clarifying that, i am so happy that means i lost 54 lb since 18 sept2007, wow wee i am wrapped, think i did great, after reading everyone elses was not certain, but wow wow wow am now. Still have 34 lbs to go but hey will keep at it with the help of all you guys on the boards, thanx for your help couldnt have done it without you guys> we are here to help each other.:blush:

I realized that I hadn't updated myself in awhile. The last time I did, I had lost 49 pounds. I have now lose 72! AND I'm 19 pounds from onederland!!!!

      Two months out from hiatal hernia repair.  Surgeon said to expect a lot more flatulence...something about the 'air' no longer being able to 'burp' out so comes out the other end.  That is my experience but have no understanding of why that swallowed air cannot be 'burped'. ???

        Not yet. I was told I only have to do 24 hours of a liquid diet. But I have my pre-op tomorrow so I’m going to confirm if I need to do longer.

      Down 33 lbs and slightly stalled, but I'm gonna reevaluate and push through. I started back to work last week after 2 years of being disabled due to mental health as well as my weight. It's a great job and I'm just so happy to have this opportunity at a second chance at life. Hope everyone is having their best journey ❤️ Together, we got this!
