Meal Plan & Sweets

Recommended Posts

Hi lovely-x love your earring plan will try that. My eating is all over the place. Some days Breakfast is oatmeal or jimmy dean scrambles or a Protein Shake, my lunch consists of 1/2 avocado, Johnsonville grilled chicken breast or a frozen chicken sandwich, with cucumber and tomatoes salad. My tastebuds are all over the place. And if I have a craving for sweets I get it. But I will try your plan after I do this reset and let you know how it's going for me. Cause I'm a year out and only lost 42lbs getting frustrated and depressed

I tried the link & it states the page doesn't exist. That may be the reason you haven't received any responses.

Hi Asapp,

I just copied the info from that link. Thanks for the heads up!

Hey all!

It's been awhile since I've posted, but I need some advice. Does anyone have a daily meal plan they are willing to share with me? I am 9 lbs away from my goal, I've been going to the gym 5 times a week, but I still have cravings for sweets and am unsure of exactly what I should be eating, meal wise. I saw a dietician, but she didn't seem to understand that I wanted a meal plan, not just the grams of Protein that I need to have, per day.

Thank you, all!

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
