I am currently between the sizes of clothes I already own. I'm only 6 weeks out, and I don't want to buy any clothes in this current size. I can fudge the shirts, but the pants were just not working. Way too saggy in my upsize, way too tight on the down size.

Then I stumbled upon a company that is essentially Netflix for clothes. It's called Gwynnie Bee. While I couldn't afford it on the regular, they gave me a free trial month. So here I am in designer jeans (that fit) in which I "rented" for free. They have sizes 10-30. You get two items at a time, keep them for as long or as short as you like. Send them back and they dry clean them.

I thought it would be a perfect idea for this community, especially those of us at the beginning as we are droppin weight like it's hot.

Here's a referral link.

I believe it gives you $10 off? If it doesn't give you the free month, then just access the site via a google search.

Happy losing!

Sounds like a great idea but the cost is too much for only two or three items.

Agreed. I'm only using it for my free month, which will get me through to my next size I already own. Seems like they could make it cheaper. I don't know how much it is to add extra items... maybe the more you "rent" the better value.

I did it for over a year and it was the best thing I ever did. I was making more money but I liked that I never wore the same thing twice

Just been waiting until time for my consult with my bariatric surgeon. It's scheduled for Jan 9th. Turns out I won't actually be seeing him. Apparently it'll be with his P.A.             Not sure what to expect. I thought this is where the surgeon would discuss the best surgery option for me. For years I had my heart set on the sleeve, but I've read so many people have issues with reflux - even if they've never had it before - that they've had to be revised to the bypass. I already deal with GERD & take 40 mg of Omeprazole daily, so I started studying about bypass and honestly, it seems like it might be the better choice for me. How can we discuss surgery options if the surgeon is not there?
What happened at your first consult? Trying to get an idea of what to expect, or maybe I should say, what NOT to expect.

I would like to know what questions you wish you had asked prior to your duodenal switch surgery?
