I am going for the sleeve on November 2. It would be great to discuss issues with people on the same stages. I got high blood pressure, sleep apnea, high LDL, swollen ankles, back aches, plantis facitous (definitely spelling issues ), my BMI is 38. Which isn’t too awful. But I am so tired of medication.

Hi! I’m a couple of weeks after you (11/15). I too have sleep apnea, hypertension and VERY bad edema in my legs. I’ve been told that the surgery may not help with the edema, but will help with the rest. I’m still hopeful though!!!

I’m starting my liquid diet this week.....getting real here....

      The 14th was my day. I am home and recovery is going pretty smooth. They even let me walk out of the hospital. Picture of me in recovery curtesy of my boyfriend lol.

        Neat you have a pic of this day! I was sooo happy to get my surgery. It was well worth it! And I'm not even near my goal. I had surgery Dec. 2!
