lgravois 20 Posted September 29, 2017 It's been almost one year from my surgery, and I am down a total of 157 pounds. However I am still having issues after I eat, no matter what I put in my body I have a stomach ache almost instantly and spend the next 30 minutes on the commode or nauseated. I was told it was my gallbladder that we give me some of these problems and I am scheduled to have that out Tuesday, however I'm wondering if anybody still has problems this floor out with digestion. Will the gallbladder help once it's removed.
I can do this too! 11 Posted September 29, 2017 Congrats! You look wonderful. I am only 7 weeks post op and I am nauseous all the time. It doesn't matter if I eat or drink or don't eat or drink. The only time a feel good is when I am laying down. Started on soft food a few weeks ago, but now I am back on just liquids. The doctor thought that might help. So far, 2 weeks and there is no difference between food and liquid diet. Needless to say, I am mighty upset about this and don't know what to do now. Just wanted to let you know that I had my gall bladder out 2 years ago and a hernia out last year. Neither of these has helped me with the nausea, but maybe you'll be luckier than I have been. Wish you the best.
Berry78 4,261 Posted September 30, 2017 The gallbladder can definitely make you feel terrible. Hopefully its removal will make you feel better. Keep us informed!
Sullie06 1,013 Posted October 2, 2017 I'm currently having issues with my Gallbladder as well and it can make you feel awful. I'm maintaining mine with diet changes currently because I'm trying to wait until next year to have it out if possible but if I eat the wrong thing it's not pretty.
