Thanks for the suggestion! We offered chat rooms for years. They were barely used and we decided to focus on other features that actually get used.

The chat room turned into a creepy fest all too often. It was very uncomfortable as a man, as a woman I would imagine it be twice as bad. Several women left the forum because of interactions that started in the chat room. Not sorry at all to see that feature gone.

Private chat however might be something that would work. Real time chat that is private via an invite or something along those lines.

We’re putting all our resources into launching new and useful mobile apps. I’ll definitely look at private chat once that’s rolled out.

I also prefer the delayed chat feature the message board provides. Can walk away and not miss anything...

I too like delayed chat. S ometimes I get distracted. But even on Messenger app it can get creepy
