mylighthouse 782 Posted September 24, 2017 (edited) Yes, so very common not to have a BM for a week or sometimes longer after surgery. I didn't have my first one until post op day 10. The fleet enema is a good idea, and I checked with my surgeon, and he told me that I could also safely take MOM and Miralax, which I did.
