RSM 69 Posted September 23, 2017 I am not ready for solids yet, but am thinking about an Air Fryer for when I am. Can you tell me if they are worth the investment? Would you recommend it? If so is there a better one than not? Thanks---------

I know postings probably aren't meant for this, but in reducing calories I was looking for an appliance that would help me with this, when I am cooking again. I think I will buy one! Thanks again---------- 1 ZinNH reacted to this

Kathytej 134 Posted September 25, 2017 I have one, I use it all the time, no oil needed, food taste delicious and crunchy, love to steam the sweet potatoes and then put them in the air fryer. Yummy. GotProlactinoma 458 Posted September 27, 2017 Thanks for recommending this. My old deep fryer is just sitting on my counter and I know we have broken up but I haven't thrown him out yet. We should get an air fryer. Everyone seems to like them a lot and kids LOVE fries. Wondering how it does with chicken wings. At 2 mos out, I found I could still enjoy one chicken wing baked in oven (my old recipe) and eaten with hot sauce. What a delight that day was. 2 nikkiyellz and WillownWind reacted to this
shadeau 2 Posted September 28, 2017 My parents were visiting when I was in my first week post-op, the air fryer was a big topic of conversation. We are from the south and love frying foods, so I was surprised to hear they cook nearly everything in a Big Boss Air Fryer. They love it, delicious food, quick easy cleaning. I am going to buy one off of Amazon here soon. Still on week 2 post-op, but looking ahead.
FlyFatA$$Fly 155 Posted September 28, 2017 LOVE my air fryer! I make naked air fried chicken wings, and then toss them in sweet baby rays buffalo sauce. The sauce very low carb. I'm going to try low carb air fried chicken.
FlyFatA$$Fly 155 Posted September 29, 2017 Just made bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers in the air fryer. They came out great. One is all I could eat. 2 Tat19808 and GeTnBackuP reacted to this
fastfoodaddictnomore 66 Posted September 29, 2017 Are these air fryers worth the cost? I buy things like this and only use maybe twice a year. Is it something that you use a lot? Those are yummy in the oven but take so long. Does the air dryer speed up the time a lot? 1 sheilaMc reacted to this
FlyFatA$$Fly 155 Posted September 29, 2017 If you are going to use it then it's worth the cost. I bought one at kohls with a 30% off coupon. It wasn't too bad. I use it all the time. These only took 8 mins in the air fryer.
CindyAnne 3 Posted September 29, 2017 We were just talking about air fryers in our Bariatric Support group tonight. Everyone who has purchased one says it is well worth the price. The said it also helps them stave off any residual fast food cravings they are having because everything comes out so crispy.
