Sick before surgery

I am having my surgery in 6 days and yesterday found out I have bronchitis anyone else get sick before surg? What happened

Oh, that's terrible! You probably going to have to put off surgery because your lungs aren't going to be able to handle the anesthesia. I am so sorry you're going through that, I know you look forward to the date that this comes about!

I had a urinary tract infection and sore throat 5 days before thw day of surgery. Some HUGE antibiotic taken faithfully along with plenty of rest and Water. With my doc's permission I also took Echinacea as a precaution. I was good to go tbat Monday.
