shantel 1 Posted September 18, 2017 Had my RnY on 08/01. I CANNOT tolerate any of the Vitamins. Chewy bites or chews. Bariatric Advantage or Celebrate. Spent $100's trying different flavors and everything makes me sick. I've also developed an aversion to anything sweet. My team says we can start pills at 6 months. But I haven't been taking them at all for 3 weeks. Anyone else have problems with this?Sent from my SM-G930P using BariatricPal mobile app
ilgc7 4 Posted September 18, 2017 Yes I couldn't stand Bariatric Advantage try Bariatric Fusion if you haven't yet they're $22 on Amazon and orange creme is my favorite. I'd steer clear from the strawberry one it is way too chalky imo

Myaiku_Kuraitani 245 Posted September 19, 2017 I don't like any of those brand Vitamins. I'm looking into vitamin patches or just finding a pill small enough for me to swallow whole.Hw-273Sw-226CW-165GW-130Size- 4 or 6, Small in sweats. justgrinding 9 Posted September 19, 2017 I choose to do Patches for b Vitamins, I couldn't bare the taste of the Bariatric Advantage b complex pills... nothing can mask that taste. I think I will end up with all patches, with everything going on after surgery, I don't need the extra stress of choking down opened capsules and chews 1 em1 reacted to this

zleng 45 Posted September 20, 2017 Bari Life offers powdered Vitamins. The regimen Is pretty easy: One scoop in the morning and One at night. That's all and it has all the things that are required. They suggest to dissolve the scoop in 8-10oz, my nutritionist suggested me to do it in 2-3 oz and it works just fine. Get the lemon or cherry version because the plain one taste terrible. Bansheeflyer 10 Posted January 15, 2018 I'm on the Celebrate ADEK had the duodenal switch. I gag on those chewables. I've been supplementing with One a Day 60+ I can go on the capsule except I need to order it online as the hospital pharmacy doesn't carry the capsules.I haven't heard of the vitamin patches. Sounds like an ideal option for Vitamins.< br> 1 em1 reacted to this

Sunnyday25 172 Posted January 17, 2018 ok just got back from my 3 month check and they told me I can take any one a day as long as i also add a b complex to it. This works out fine for me anything over the awful bariatric ones. 2 watsongirl17 and Confident&Sassy_RNY reacted to this
