Weight watchers documentation... please help

Recommended Posts

Please help! I am going though the pre approval process for vsg. I have bcbs of Maryland. One of the requirements is 6 month diet attempt and weight watchers counts. I actually have been on it for 9 months. My question is what documentation does the insurance company need? I don't attend meetings but I have the app and count my points on it. I figured out how to print off my weight totals for each week. I am not sure what else I can provide? Is this all I need to provide for documentation? I know all insurance companies are different but does anyone have any advice? Any advice is much appreciated!!

You would have to ask the ins coordinator, each ins is different.

Is the requirement 6 months dieting, or 6 months in a SUPERVISED NUTRITION PROGRAM? I have my doubts that they're going to say okay to a self-run thing; my insurance wouldn't have. It specifically had to be supervised. Meetings would qualify, but I'm not sure the app will...

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.

Hi, I’m new here. I’m currently on the liver shrinking diet. So far so good, but I have to say I haven’t found a protein shake I like. Anyone have any suggestions please? My surgery date is September 17th.

Fairlife Core are by far the best. They taste just as they are - chocolate milk. You can either get the 26 grams or the 42 grams (harder to find and more expensive). For straight protein look at Bulksuppliments.com ..they have really good whey proteins and offer auto ship plus they test for purity. No taste or smell...

Fairlife has strawberry, vanilla and of course chocolate. No more calories than other protein drinks. Stay away from Premiere, they're dealing with lawsuits due to not being honest about protein content.
