LetsDoThis! 20 Posted September 15, 2017 I am not supposed due to my IUD, but I think the pre op diet's super low calories made my body FREAK OUT & I was for a few days. Thankfully it ended because I was worried about this too. - No idea what I'm doing but I'm here!
travelergirl 142 Posted September 16, 2017 I stayed on the pill leading up to surgery. So, i was 2 to 3 weeks post op for my first post surgery cycle which was very light.Second one was incredibly heavy and lasted 9 days.Third one has been light but I'm now on day 20! I'm still taking the pill but it doesn't seem to do anything. My surgeon said that is normal as the weight loss changes hormones and throw off our cycles for the first year or so.Sent from my SM-G920V using BariatricPal mobile app

MugglesnDaleks 9 Posted September 17, 2017 Oh no! I know that gaining and loosing wait can definitely mess with your cycle. However, i did not think about my lady friend!!!!! I had very crazy cycles when I was younger. Sometimes it would last 3 weeks others times i wouldn't have it for 3 months. I'm not looking forward to experiencing that again. readytolose727 55 Posted September 18, 2017 HAS ANYONE GOTTEN THERE ENEMY AROUND THE TIME THAT THEY HAD SURGERY? I HAVE REALLY BAD CRAMPS WHEN IM ON MY ENEMY AND IM WONDERING DOES IT GET WORSE?I asked my surgeon because I'm due to get my monthly the same day as surgery 9/25. He said that doesn't stop the surgery, I asked him if I should reschedule and he said absolutely not. He said they give you like paper panties and a pad, and you'll be fine, no tampons. Hope this helpsSent from my SM-N920T using BariatricPal mobile app
