mnmlst 249 Posted September 15, 2017 I'm almost 3 years out from surgery and I'm really struggling with regain. I hit my lowest weight about a year out from surgery and am now about 30 lbs up (if I had to guess-I'm not going to weigh). I'm up from an 8 to a 12/14.I have done the pouch reset and have gone back to basics on the rules. I don't want to weigh until my clothes feel a bit looser - I'm worried that weighing will discourage me. So for now I'm just eating right, following the rules, and keeping my fingers crossed. I just want to know if that will be enough.Has anyone here successfully conquered significant regain and, if so, how did you do it?(Also, for the newbies out there, or those worried about how to stop losing, I'm here to say that regain is real. It happens. You can't throw all your eating rules out the window and keep it off. Work the program!)Sent from my LG-LS993 using BariatricPal mobile app 2 MTL and Berry78 reacted to this
Pescador 1,374 Posted September 15, 2017 Exact same thing here - 30 lbs. I am at 190, 5'5". I eat very little. Acid reflux makes me feel sick all the time. Nothing helps. 2 years out and regain reached 30 lbs, and no matter what, I cannot lose.

Pescador 1,374 Posted October 12, 2017 I regained 30 lbs. no matter what I eat the scale won’t move. I eat less than I ever have. I have gained fat in my upper arm/breast area, and in my upper stomach. Weird.
FLLyssa 27 Posted October 15, 2017 Regain of 30, almost 3 years out. Thinking about going back to surgeon to tighten up pouch? Pescador 1,374 Posted October 15, 2017 Same here. Four years post surgery. I went to 160, now at 190 two years. I could not eat any less. No carbs in my household. Feel bloated constantly, feel I am getting fat in my upper body I never had, including stomach. Tried an organic clean diet and gained weight. Typical day is yogurt, boiled egg, cheese stick, cabbage salad, piece of Protein meat for dinner. Lost so much hair I don’t want to go back for more surgery. Had to take Thiamine injections six months. Feeling screwed.
