mxpxchik11 48 Posted September 15, 2017 HI all, I am approaching the 6 month mark and have been in a 3 week stall. I am wondering if I am eating what I should be. I average about 800 calories a day and I am not sure if I am eating too much. Average Day: Breakfast: 3 oz greek yogurt Snack: reduce fat cheese stick 1 or 2 Lunch: Turkey and reduce fat cheese roll up (4 oz) Dinner: Ground turkey meat (4 oz) Snack/ meal: spinach and cheese (3- 4 oz) Just looking for some direction or what other people at this stage are doing? Berry78 4,261 Posted September 15, 2017 We have virtually identical stats and your surgery was 9 days after mine. Since I seem to be on schedule, you have to be too! If anything, you may want to increase your calories a bit. I eat around 1200 each day... so you can probably increase if you want. Otherwise, stalls happen. Do not decrease your calories. You are doing great! 1 mxpxchik11 reacted to this
Berry78 4,261 Posted September 15, 2017 My meal plan: Breakfast: 4oz cottage cheese and 3-4 oz fruit. Lunch: 1 egg and 4oz black Beans Snack: 1oz nuts or seeds Dinner: 4oz meat or fish and veggies Beverages: 1 cup milk and 2 cups coconut Water I can't eat that much at each meal so I break it up. 1 mxpxchik11 reacted to this

Berry78 4,261 Posted September 15, 2017 Ok, I just figured out my calories are closer to 1000 than 1200, so not such a big gap, after all! 1 mxpxchik11 reacted to this
Brandeis 401 Posted September 15, 2017 Are you exercising? That can make a major difference. I have no idea what my calorie count was at 6 months -- I didn't do any tracking, ever, just tried to make sure I ate things that were high protein... 3 dreamingsmall, Berry78 and mxpxchik11 reacted to this
Apple1 2,572 Posted September 15, 2017 I am eating anywhere from 1000-1200 at 4 months post-op. I have always believed that gradually getting your calories up to 1200 is a good idea to keep your metabolism high. I honestly don't know for sure if this is scientifically true as I have read arguments both ways. i am still losing at a decent pace, 10.3 lbs average per month when you do the math. I am very active running 4-5 days per week. 2 mxpxchik11 and Berry78 reacted to this
