dreamynow 136 Posted September 13, 2017 I had surgery 8/21 and lost 29 pounds! Then this morning gained 2! Getting tons of Water, walking, following food guide..... will this pass??? Also, I have an IUD AND I have had my period - light- on and off this whole post op. I'm getting nervous that that this ( like everything else) will not work for me. I also felt super light this morning- until the horrific scale. Any thoughts are welcome!
Kristen117 20 Posted September 13, 2017 Dont feel down about this. It could be anything from a little Water retention(cycle), you had more sodium than normal yesterday, to a bowel movement! Gross, I know, but our bodies are adjusting and trying to keep up with our minds. We want the scale to go down each day, and it wont. Its just trying to catch up! You got this! And your doing everything you're supposed to! Keep it up! Sent from my SM-G925V using BariatricPal mobile app 1 etc. etc. etc. reacted to this

Went on two walks today for a total of 1 and 1/2 hours. Really want to see progress and results. [emoji173]️

[emoji173]️ You are so welcome. Let the tears be happy tears! You have made a decision to be a better person, and as long as you keep doing what you're doing, you will see the progress, I promise! My surgery was a revision from band to sleeve. I lost just over 100 lb with my band, and I remember going through exactly what you are experiencing. Now I am doing it again after some medical issues with the band. Huge bummer, but now we can do it together! 1 dreamynow reacted to this
etc. etc. etc. 440 Posted September 14, 2017 I agree with Kristen 117. Don't let a slight uptick in daily weighing throw you off. Our bodies are weird and do weird stuff on a day-to-day basis. If it's bugging you too much, maybe switch to weighing yourself once a week for a while.
