Sleeved in DFW :-) 61 Posted September 12, 2017 Three weeks out from VSG. I just ate an Oikos Triple Zero peach yogurt. It was 5.3 oz. I had no idea it was that much! I didn't look at the size until I was done. It took 45 minutes to eat it and I was sitting at my desk. Should I be worried that my Sleeve is already stretched?!! My doctor said I should be eating 2-3 oz at a meal. Please tell me what you think! "Get Busy Living or Get Busy Dying"HW 237SW 225CW 214GW tbd
OutsideMatchInside 10,166 Posted September 12, 2017 Yougurt is just a denser liquid, when you eat it is going to basically be a slider and go right through your stomach. If 5 ounces is a serving. I don't see an issue. However, you should be measuring out your portions and only eating your portions. You can't overeat if you aren't over served to begin with. 1 Sleeved in DFW :-) reacted to this

I should be measuring out all my food. I guess I just thought a yogurt would be fine. Especially since it was Greek yogurt with no sugar added and 16 g of Protein. My bad for assuming. Will do better tomorrow. Thanks for responding. "Get Busy Living or Get Busy Dying"HW 237SW 225CW 214GW tbd
Iona 23 Posted September 13, 2017 Eating a whole container of yogurt isn't a problem. My program recommends 2-3oz of lean meat or cheese, and the equivalent they list is 6oz of greek yogurt. Measuring is definitely an excellent tool (I do it,) but that much yogurt really is fine. Sent from my SM-G920P using BariatricPal mobile app

I didn't get much of anything :-( I wonder if something like that is available online...
