tx_scorpio 17 Posted September 9, 2017 Congrats. I was sleeved on 9/05. Nothing prepared me for the amount of pain I was in, mostly gas, it was the most excrutiating pain I have ever felt. For some reason the gas was trapped in my lower abdomen/pelvic area which made walking difficult, but I was forced to walk. I took Gas-X and stool softerner to help relieve that pain. I too had a sore throat and have been taking a cough suppressant-throat drops. For the soreness elsewhere I have Lidocaine Patches that my doctor had sent to me and have been taking my Tylenol with Codeine. I feel 100% better than Tuesday and Wednesday, but only 60% better overall compared to normal. Hope you feel better. 1 shanicebarry reacted to this
Billy M 5 Posted September 9, 2017 Thank you! I'm going to my primary doctor tomorrow so I hope I can get some Tylenol.
Stephanie12579 12 Posted September 10, 2017 I just tried Tomato Soup today 10 days out and it was the hardest thing I've tried to digest so far. My surgeon had me on Clear Liquids only for the first week before progressing to full liquids though. I personally waited an extra day because I was scared. I know every surgeon is different but you may try something a little lighter on the stomach. I used children's Tylenol for the pain but definitely check in with your surgeon! Good luck! jess9395 5,449 Posted September 10, 2017 Tomato Soup is highly acidic. I'd hold off on it for a whilw

PrayingForWeightLoss 337 Posted September 10, 2017 Unless it is the Optifast Tomato Soup if you want a "tomato " kick. I could digest that better. Real tomatoes would be hard to process at this stage.
