karen kaligaris 15 Posted September 8, 2017 Im only 8 days postop and i think im gonna stay with liquids for a long time. Thank god i dont feel hunger and i tolerate good enough my Water and Protein Shake. But Just for curiosity how much time do you have to wait to eat crunchy food (i. e crackers toast)? ha ha i really miss that. jhope71 105 Posted September 18, 2017 Crackers and toast are empty carbs, so be careful with them. I try to limit my "crunchy stuff" to raw veggies, parmesan crisps, nuts, Pork rinds, etc. Most of those are for later on, after the soft foods stage, though.
