Cigna Connect Band to Bypass Revision

Hi I was wondering if anyone had Cigna Connect with a band revising to Gastric bypass? Did they make you go thru the 3 month supervised diet? What if it was due to heartburn or a slip of t the band

Long story short

I've had a band approximately 4 yrs lost like 20 lbs despite following diet plan and exercise always hungry can eat whatever and get heartburn off and on but if I tighten the band it's constant I want to get bypass but remove the band at the same time

Hoping not to have to go thru 3 month deal but can't find anything on this situation. I'm sort of preparing to go to Mexico to avoid it.
