fastfoodaddictnomore 66 Posted December 11, 2017 Had mine on the 8th. Still difficult to get up out of bed sitting is ok but walking is slow. Not hungry at all and have to force broth and Water. I had the DUODENAL Switch, gallbladder removed and hernia repaired. Most of my discomfort is on my right side. I’m still happy I did the surgery and have to accept that I had more time causing me more pain. 1 Rubyfit4life reacted to this
Ziger 4 Posted December 11, 2017 I'm also the 19th. Pre-op diet is pretty difficult for me. I feel hungry almost all the time. How is it for you? I'm going to Mexico so I'm pretty nervous. My dad was asking me about infection rates last night. Ugh. I’m actually doing surprisingly well to be honest. I’ve been drinking Orgain grass fed Protein Drink 2-3 times a day. My doctor also allows 4 oz of meat or a starchy vegetable with non starchy veggies and fruit. I just find myself eating a LOT of veggies to keep from getting hungry. I also eat salsa and drink broth in between meals or when Im craving more meat.
