Kat410 423 Posted September 6, 2017 I know a lot of us (myself included) get fascinated with the scale stats - This is my weekly loss (currently in week 15). I made this spreadsheet to track % of excess weight lost based on a target weight of 175 (which may need to be adjusted - that is a slightly overweight BMI). I started with a BMI of 50, size 24w clothing, pre-diabetic, age 50, no other co-morbidities. I was relatively active (given my weight) and have been able to significantly increase my activity level. I am on the high end of the curve in terms of weight loss, but I wanted to post this to hopefully disrupt the illusion of 10 lb/week weight loss. I didn't track my 10 day pre-op diet by week, so the 16 lbs with that is not divided up by week. XYZXYZXYZ1955 675 Posted September 6, 2017 I only hope to have similar success. It adds up . . . that's amazing for about four months' time. Congrats!
Gen17 92 Posted September 6, 2017 This is great. I'm two days for a month post op and finding I am getting obsessed with the scale. I like your stats because it shows some weeks will be high, others not so much! I've lost 20lbs in a month and I know some people lose more but I am happy! OutsideMatchInside 10,166 Posted September 6, 2017 Thanks for sharing this. It is important for people to see that it is not just some great downward slide, there are peaks and valleys. Keep up the great work! 1 Gen17 reacted to this
