how do I put 2 pics side by side?

1. If you have MS Word or Apple Pages, open one of them.

2. Set your page to LANDSCAPE.

3. (Optional) Choose a coloured background.

4. Drag photos from the file manager onto the WORD page or PAGES page.

5. Using only a single corner of each photo resize each to fit an appropriate height and width. (Trying to get them all the same height is usually best.)

6. Add any appropriate text.

7. Save your document.

8. (Optionally) take a screen shot of it.

9. Upload to Bariatric Pal.

HERE'S THE ONE I MADE ABOUT THREE WEEKS AGO BEFORE SURGERY.

Surgery Was on 10/03, down 25.6 lbs. Weight loss slowed this week, but I am losing inches. I feel great. Red meat doesn't sit well with me nor does cheating by trying to sample bad choices, so yep...I stopped that nonsense. I finally got a small hunger feeling this week, but no cravings. I didn't see a difference, but others notice. So, I took a photo today and put it side by side with a before VSG pic and it is insane to see the face behind the extra lbs. How are you all doing? #wecandoit

Wow, those are amazing results for such a short period of time. You look amazing! You were beautiful before, but the weight-loss agrees with you. You look even better.

Surgery was 10/16, down 16 lbs from surgery date. Feeling great! First day back at work, and found out that my slacks I wore pre-surgery are not possible to fit in now. Have to go shopping tonight for a few pair to hold me over for a few weeks. It's good to be able to see and feel the difference, even in a short time. Almost 70lbs down from my highest weight.

You look terrific! Congratulations! I hope to have similar results. I have a wardrobe of sizes, but I am going to buy some new things each time I go down anyway.

Enjoy your successes as they come!

So to start a FB group, even a Secret group, you need to be FB friends with the person starting the group. If anyone wants to , please message me and I will get one started.

You can then adjust your settings if you do not want your sleever FB friends to see all your FB stuff.

Hi everyone. I was sleeved on 10/10. I had a follow up appointment yesterday and I'm down 37 pounds from surgery date. I feel amazing. I'm can't drink my Protein Shakes because they are all so sweet. But I'm drinking high Protein milk and eating fat free refried Beans along with lots of fat free cottage cheese. This has been the best decision of my life. I hope all you October Sleevers are seeing some positive change!!

Day 1 of pre-op liquid diet (3 weeks) and I'm having a hard time already. I feel hungry and just want to eat. I got the protein and supplements recommend by my program and having a hard time getting 1 down. My doctor / nutritionist has me on the following:
1 protein shake (bariatric advantage chocolate) with 8 oz of fat free milk 1 snack = 1 unjury protein shake (root beer) 1 protein shake (bariatric advantage orange cream) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein bar 1 protein shake (bariatric advantace orange cream or chocolate) 1 snack = 1 unjury protein soup (chicken) 3 servings of sugar free jello and popsicles throughout the day. 64 oz of water (I have flavor packets). Hot tea and coffee with splenda has been approved as well. Does anyone recommend anything for the next 3 weeks?

All I can tell you is that for me, it got easier after the first week. The hunger pains got less intense and I kind of got used to it and gave up torturing myself by thinking about food. But if you can, get anything tempting out of the house and avoid being around people who are eating. I sent my kids to my parents' house for two weeks so I wouldn't have to prepare meals I couldn't eat. After surgery, the hunger was totally gone.

I have my final approval from my insurance, only thing holding up things is one last x-ray needed, which I have scheduled for the fourth of next month, which is my birthday.
