Tyme4me1003 21 Posted September 20, 2017 Well my pre-op diet starts tomorrow. I had a 2 hour session with the nutritionist and my doctor's nurse in which they went over in great detail the pre-op and post-op requirements. I am really trying to stay positive about the next two weeks. Bottom line, if my Dr goes in and my liver is too fatty, he won't perform the surgery. I don't want to come all this way to just be turned away on the operating table. Operation pre-op is in full effect! 4 belinda401, amb052492, njgal and 1 other reacted to this
sleevetastic23 3 Posted September 20, 2017 How long did it take the doctors office to give you a surgery date after you were approved? I am still waiting on a date and was approved last Thursday! In my case once all my workup was complete (9/6/17) they had me pick the surgery date and then they submitted paperwork to my insurance company with the date of October 12. I was officially approved a week later (9/13/17). I started the whole process July 5th and 14 weeks later will be starting my new life!! 1 belinda401 reacted to this

Because I thought I would be in October but the coordinator said November Sent from my LGMS210 using BariatricPal mobile app I had six visits which included my initial doctor's visit. Started in March. Had my endoscopy, psych eval and Dietician meeting. Was a week off because of Harvey so ended up submitting Sept 6 to insurance (originally would have been Aug 29th). Got approval insurance Sept 12th and got my surgery date at Oct 19th today. My pre-op is Oct 6th:) 1 crushingit reacted to this
