For those of you whom have had Tummy Tuck just curious if you go down in pants size

Hi Terry...I hate to sound negative and it's very possible that this was just my own experience, but not only did I not lose any weight, or go down in a pant size, but I have actually gained 8 lbs since my surgery 18 months ago. The gain isn't because of the surgery but that's when it started for me . I was unable to exercise for 3 months and it just started creeping in. I didn't have a lot of skin to remove but enough to warrant the surgery. But I think unless you have alot of excess skin, you won't see dramatic weight loss or size in clothes. But again, that's my story. I wish you all the best and hope it goes very well for you.

I had a lot of swelling and for several months wore size 4 instead of my usual size 0. slowly I was able to ease back down to 0.

Hi Terry! I'm 9 weeks post op from a full Tummy Tuck with Lipo and I'm still wearing my pre-op buttoned pants, just because of swelling. I have gone down a pant size in stretchy pants (because they lipo'd my hips away, lol). It's probably different for everyone depending on where you carry the skin/fat.

In the end I will probably be down one pant size once the swelling is gone.
